Doing a mod

Ok. Summer is rolling around. My life is beginning to get slightly easier again...

And while deep in thought, I discovered a mod idea. Read some basic info at http://thrash123.unrealcenter.com/Robot%20mod%20info.txt - I need a team though...

I need 2 coders, a modeller and animator or two who are SKILLED at what they do. Some of the animations I have planned may just be a bit much for the average modeller (such as flowing cloaks, and believable crawling and running/walking animations). I also need a sound artist, but not immediately. Mappers are also welcome. Won't need texture artists though :) I got that covered.

how bout a 28.8 tester,

i think you could probably do better with your weapon ideas, to better reflect you non military theme.

here's some ideas, for hand to hand weapons, how bout some large gardening utensils, rake, hoe, shovel the like, there's some other cool things you could use, and electric carving knife, how bout a nail gun that works kinda like the impact hammer. fires when you touch them. the old trash can lid sheild thing would be cool. too. and the infamous board with a rusty nail in it. don't know how serious your trying to be though.

somehow to me laser pistols don't seem to fit with domestic servents.

Yeah, I've been thinking on garden utensils as well... laser pistols and other weapons fit in due to the fact that the 'bots not only are household servants, but military servants as well. They don't get much into combat, but they can do things such as clean and fly ships, etc etc... That's how they have access to that stuff. At one point I thought a broom would be cool, but then I realized that a broom would do nothing but remove the dust...

Board with a nail = no no. I'm thinking a shovel might work tho :)
