Has anyone tried Ring of Red for PS2?

Just curious, has anyone tried it out? I'm thinking of renting it. The graphics look amazingly sweet on it.

I bought it yesterday, but I've only played it for about 5 minutes. The graphics are okay, but they're nothing spectacular. I'm hoping the game picks up a bit (like I said, I've only played it for 5 minutes), but so far it's confusing as hell.

if there's one thing you should not get into this game for it's the graphics. i'm afraid that if you purchase it solely on that pretense you will be quite dissapointed. not because they aren't great. but because that is not at all what the game is about.

i don't know how much you already know about the game but it is a TURN BASED STRATEGY. this means monumentally slow gameplay(that can also be deeply enjoyable and rewarding).

i sugest you rent it. but only if you know what you're getting into.

personally, i really liked it at first(i'm a big fan of turn based strategy, X-COM was my first true love...) but after mission 8(of 18, at 2-3+ hours a mission) i started to get kinda bored with it, just not that much new to do.
