$hit, I might actually be buying a PS2

GTA, I heart you! :)
GTA is a game that me and especially my best boy must have set records for in terms of gameplay. Everytime I called him up I'd hear gunshots and people screaming in the background, and while he is black, I knew what it really was. :D
GTA is one of the most visceral, fun, and completely replayable games I've ever seen. GTA is the only game, that I know of, that you can play while wired, baked, or falling asleep.
With all that said, the totally and incredibly improved GTA3 might be the reason I buy a PS2 this October, and hopefully we'll see a nice price drop buy then. :)

The 3 newest screens of GTA3 have just been released, I know there is something wrong with the third( http://jrock628.homestead.com/files/Gifs/bigcry.gif ), but hopefully GS will fix it soon.

Hehe, that's why I made this topic, cuz initially, I said I was gonna wait for the Xbox version. I don't care if I need to get to work in a shopping cart to make ends meet, Ima have that game ASAP. :D

here is my theory:

N64 is like an old 85 camero... not quite the best, but still a good car.
Dreamcast is like a civic... looks nice, but sucks compared to the others.
PS2 is like a 2000 Mercades SLK650... Hell yeah.
Xbox is like a mclaren f1: REALY GOOD STATTS, but no one likes them. and theyre made by a company who does a step higher than the product itself... get it?

like I sayed I know some people who test the games. they would agree that the controllers really make the gameplay suck. allong w/ that, the games have no plot. have you seen th mallon or whatever game? dude, its about a little girl who has wierd powers

D00d, the system doesn't come out for like half a year, do you know how much s<b></b>hit can change in that time? Plus I loath the PS2, but when it was 6 months to it's release, I wasn't anything like you're being, ask Keiichi. I was actually contemplating buying one, but then I <u><i>actually</i></u> played some of it's games on an awesome tv and it sucked ass, IMHO.
Like I said, you don't judge a book by it's cover, you read it and say it sucks, so all your comments about the Xbox are insignificant.

to tell you the truth, I hated the PS2 at first... and then I remembered about MGS2!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!!!!!! then I saw GT3, WHOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
and then I saw final fantasy 10.... WHOO.....

you get the point... so maybe the Xbox might have some good games under its sleve... maybe...

I should stop judging a gonsole by its shell....

I will stay loyal to PS2 though...
