What exactly are you running on that server of yours? I keep having to download some 4Mb file and everytime when it's almost done the map switches and i get to start over again. So what is it you run?

The server is a new clean install, and not hosted by me, the prior clan was a TDM clan, the download is part of bonus pack 4 from what i understand... sorry.

Fur- sounds like you need to hit your nearest friendly FTP server for UT bonus pack 4. Better get it now, before any of the Inf mapping community start using any of the texture packs in it.

One caveat to Baston though- I'm positive that the GI servers had bonus pack 4 on them, and yet people (well, Fur & Aequi, if they count as people ;) ) never had this prob before. It may be possible to alter forced downloads serverside if you have editing permission to the server.ini packages- look for the serverpackages line mentioning skeletalchars. Duinno if you'll be able to actually do that on as tightly controlled aserup as it sounds you've got. Never had to do any serverside editing myself, so that may be bull (for a change :) ), but it might get you heading in the right direction.

over at the GamesInferno forums (http://www.gamesinferno.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=7205)- they da men when it comes to server configs AFAIK, but you could do worse than to try the troubleshooting forum here too.

Take a rummage around in the .ini files in your UnrealTournament folder to get some sort of feeling for what's going on- be careful though (there speaks bitter experience :( )

Bonus pack 4 is a must for UT players :D

And yes, all you have to do is remove the line from the server packages on the ini.
