There have been several (different?) temakillers on various servers this weekend. Please turn friendly fire damage to 50% and FF punishment to 100%. That way the tk'er will police himself, being only able to kill either zero people or at worst one.

Please do this.

I've been playing TO as well as Inf, and they are scrambling for a TK answer as well. Turning FF to 50% just ruins the realism.

How about 100% and 100%. Accidental non-killing tk's won't kill you both, but if you headshot your teammate, you're both gone.

That or get better attendance from the server admins so they can ban someone. The tk'ers I ghosted changed their names and rejoined several times, so it would be impossible to constantly vote->kick them without unintentionally kicking a genuine new player. So unless they put in a way for us to vote for kick/banning, they can still rejoin.

Inf is about realism Friendly Fire punishment is not realistic.
Friendly Fire must be set to 100% for the same reason.
To lessen the TKER s presences feel free to email the server s admin ,he s got the log(press F2 for info) .
Give him some informations :
name of the TKer(s)
date,hour etc...
Take some screenshots.
I don t think the ability of banning someone must be given to players.
There are TKers around but i don t want to be banned by those kind of guys.

...ofcause there is proberbly real intentional TKers out there, but i really feel i must step up and ask the current playerbase to play with plentifull coleant within hands reach... (boy that sounds just wired :) )

Ok, short version: calm down, please...

The first-timer or just new player that did't try the offline part of the game can't really be blamed for making alot of mistakes in the beginning, i know i did - and I even got to sit with only the offline version for a little while, which helps alot.

I sertainly do my fair share of "[censored] tker!" and "sorry!!!" but in the first case i calm down fairly quickly, which however some don't (recently). Not counting Kosovo, i think i only once gone after a teammate, but that time two other teammate got to him before me ;)

I mean, you are expecting new players to arrive over time or not?
...too repeat: calm down, count to ten, breath deeply or something, anything! :)

PS. i'm against changing the FF, that would't be right - disallowing the TK'er in the next round maybe... but i'd hafta think about that.

IMHO, the game should keep track of friendly fire and punish the culprits accordingly, only not at the exact time of the FF...

Wounding a teammate= starts the next round minus the health he took from his teammate(s)... if over 100% total, sits out the next round.

1 TK in one round= sits out (stays dead) for the next round.

2 TKs in one round= sits out for the next 2 rounds.

3 TKs in one round= immediate kick from the server. If feasible, temporarily ban them from the server (even only for 10 minutes would work).

It might seem a little harsh, but it'll make TKers' jobs alot harder, and hopefully it'll teach people to properly ID their targets, and be more careful when throwing/launching grenades.

I know that every once in a while some dumbass runs right in front of you while you are giving suppression fire, but I think it's a small price to pay, all things considered. Just keep track of people around you a little better when playing with people who may not have the brains to stay out of your field of fire.

i think the best way that would still keep realism in tact would be to kick them to some 3rd party team. then they're fairgame for everyone. plus it could add the strategy of ligitimatly trying to infiltrate another team(but that's a differentmatter for more organized matches)

anyway, if you were in the military and a guy started wiping out your team youd probably just kill him, and since he's still wearing your uniform, the other team would try to kill him too. so we just set him to an extra team so everyone can kill him and still get points.

ah well... after my monday experience with a TK'er i am just about ready to eat my words... :(

Guy comes in name something like "voting sux" or close and tk's all but 1 or 2, and are yelled at: "this is not deathmatch" ...quickly changes his name to "i didn't know" or something.

Then changes his name to match someone else on the team, and when i yell at him later because he nails me on purpose while we are taking an elevator up together...

...he changes his name to mine... :(

ps. for those who was there on that server: Who was the guy that wanted to play flagstaff, but didt get too because we voted for something else????
