Sound Mod Help question

At the end of the sound mod process you need to creat a .int file. It says to create this file as a .txt file. Whenever I name something say like soundmod.int it will always come out as soundmod.int.txt. How do I make .int the ext. Thanks

i have had this problem 1st of all make sure you aren't hiding extensions for known file types and 2nd rename it and don't save it like that or what you could do is copy another int and rename the front part and then change what is inside it.
