Hello, im a HPB! I connect to my ISP at 46K.(acK!)
Is there a way i can opitimize my computer so can drop my ping down some. Maybe an APP that runs in my systray, or even go into my regedit and delete some microshlt code or anything, Please help!! Thanks

I have no longer connect to internet thru modem but when i did i found out something interesting pingwise.

If u dowload and install a firewall like zonealarm or something equal, u will notice that a lot of programs try to use your connection to do various things(updates,ads...blabla).

So i put them on permanent denied access. -> ping dropped and got more stable.

It won't hurt trying it.
