"weapon ideas are generally discarded"

but wouldn't it be nice to have a few more Eastern Block weapons as more AK variants w/ 30mm grenade launcher, M4 with 10mm rounds clip (it has a name but i dunno), and have a RPK ! ! ! ! A Dragunov would be nice to.

There's a new policy regarding weapon suggestions, to quote Neo...

The weapons we put into our project are the ones we decide are best implemented. Typically, we do not accept weapon suggestions from the community. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t make a suggestion at the New Suggestions Forum in out website.
