....i swear i had to download the same map 3 times this week...my maps keep disapearing..any one have info on what i should do?

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Probably that's what happens. Ut's kinda lame about that. All the maps you DL from a server are stored in a directory called cache in your UT folder. This dir is periodically cleaned.
Heres what you do....go into the folder and there will be a file called cache.ini and a whole bunch of files with long names looking like 7F9A09576.uxx
Open up the cache.ini file and you'll see that each of those files with wierd numbers coressponds to a map name or a file you dled.
eg.
599389C011D498B9400079BD99A04605=CTF-BollWerK105.unr
This means that the file with the name 59938... is actually CTF-Bollerwork. So all you need to do is rename the file in your cache folder and move it to your UT/maps dir and voila

The UnrealCache manager is a great utility. Get it here: http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?section=764&file=56782
It will let you select and make permenant, through a simple interface, any item in your cache. I suggest only selecting maps until you are sure what the other files are. Some are server packages and you want to leave them in cache or you'll get version mismatches.
