I've got a chem thing to do and I can;t seem to understand some of the stuff below. If you're capable. Help.

Does the formation of an ionic compound between the atoms of two elements involve the ionisation of the atoms of some elements? Or, does it involve he sharing of pairs of electrons between atoms?

The structure of solid calcium chloride is best described as:
a) dicrete molecules of calcium chloride with strong bonding within the molecule but weak bonding between molecules
b) an infinite lattice in which calcium and chloride are linked by strong covalent bonds

The property of metals which enables them to conduct an electric current is that:
a) metal atoms are better suited as charged carriers than non-metal atoms
b) ions in the metal are able to move freely through the metallic lattice.

U could be in luck! I did chemistry in higher and some of this stuff looks familiar (the solid calcium chloride stuff) so perhaps I will dig some of my old notes out and check them (when I have time) OK?

Right, here goes:

Note: It's been six years since I did my chemistry exams, so I'm kinda rusty on the subject. I am pretty sure these are the right answers, though.
