Hi I'm a newbie to unreal My problem is that I have started playing unreal single player mode. But every time I kill someone, I get killed, or the match ends the game will pause for about half a second. Now while I enjoy savoring a kill this is getting annoying.
I have installed all of the patches and latest drivers for everything and have tweaked the machine till it begs for mercy. I am getting average frame rates of about 45 and the game works smoothly no other lockups or glitches. I have run sysinfo in the background and it reports that I am not using any of my swap file but the cpu does Peg out at 100 while ut runs (but then it should shouldn't it) I'm using the OPENGL drivers as they give me a fps increase of about 10-15 over d3d
Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks

384MB memory
UT and swap file on a 20GB 7400RPM drive
SB live Xgamer soundcard
CL TNT2 ULTRA video card
OPENGL Drivers
UT cache size at 16 (Possible problem?)
running at 640x480 changing resolution does not increase fps
16 bit color mode in unreal
