when I try to install a downloaded map (like Vietnam) I get this

it's a 5.some meg texture file...if you've got a fast connection you might want to try downloading the FULL Umod and see if that works..my guess is it's corrupted...do a search for it in your INF_Textures folder, that's where it should be..otherwise let me know I can try and .zip it up and put it somewhere temporarily..

i have the file inf_belgrade.utx im\n my inf_textures map...

what to do??!!

do i have to download 2.85.3 all over again???

move it to the INF_Textures directory..as well as any other .UTX files..

my guess is you downloaded the map .ZIP file, and just unzipped it all to the INF_Maps folder..

Here is a breakdown in case you have any other file problems

.unr files in INF_Maps folder
.u files as well in INF_Maps and I've also got some in INF_System
.umx in INF_Music
.uax in INF_Sounds
.utx in INF_Textures

usually when you download a map from someplace like Realmaps, in the .ZIP file you'll see some or all of these files..those are necessary for the maps to be played..
