Pump vs Semi

For the shotgun, what advantages does pump have over semi?

The INF team was originaly going to have 2 types of shotgun ammo, the lower power stuff would cost less but wouldn't be able to cycle in semi auto.

I believe that that's been abandoned an in the future versions the shottie will be semi only.

The only advantage to pump now is that you don't run the gun out of ammo as fast :p

hmmm I say leave it as pump...it seems to me like pump mode does more damage then semi mode..

I use the delay of the pump action to refine my aim.

I should probably to learn to just hold it on target, as I find myself getting killed constantly waiting to pump another shell into the chamber.

I used the semi when I setup an ambush...When a couple of the enemy come into the trap then I unload with the shotgun on semi and nothing is left but hamburger..lol

Otherwise I used the pump for better accuracy and to use less ammo...
