What do u think of EAX sound for UT?

I just downloaded the EAX mods that enable EAX in DM levels for UT and I have to say they are damn wierd :/, it might just be cause they are new but all the echoing makes it v difficult to tell where anyone is comming from (its worth mentioning that I only have 2 speakers and a sub so having full surround might have helped).

What do u lot think of them?

I've got the 6 speaker digital surround sound, and the EAX really rox for me.

Is there a way you can reduce the reverb amount? I thought there was...

(I'm not at home now to check it out...)

Try switching the EAX effects on your soundblaster setup. I think that might help.
