Hopefully everybody caught this news item at the PU news page.
A glimpse into Unreal 2 level editing - Zaccix
2/1/01 15:27 PST - Elsewhere on the Web
Grayson Edge, level designer at Legend Entertainment, makers of Unreal 2, has updated his .plan with a screenshot of the Unreal 2 editor. In the .plan, he talks about Unreal 2 level design and his influences while designing U2 levels, along with what it's like to work at Legend. It's well worth a look. Thanks, Bangout.

I'm gonna give it a look :)

Very cool, looks much easier then the old one... but I guess you'd have to test it real time to actually know :D

Ahh, the Famous Janus Lab.
That's the level that you see for a second in the Unreal Tech Video.

There's another editor pic somewhere that shows some dangling wires.
In the Unreal Universe Forums we proved that there was a link between it and the video.... the same wires were in both.

It's rather an old pic, btw.

Any UU guys remember where the pic of the Unreal2 Software box is? :)

What else have you guys been hoarding over there?

Actually that .plan update is almost a year old and doesn't represent the U2 editor at all. But for some reason the plan trackers keep picking up Grayson's old update and post it as new - this is the third this has happened now, I think...:)

Man I tell ya.. we bring new people onto the PU staff and they can't tell an old .plan from a new one. ;)

News post has been removed because we are llamas! (Well, actually Zaccix is the llama, but we need someone to kick around on the staff right?)

Bad Zacc! ;)

The curious thing is that Grayson mentions in his .plan that he is amazed by the maps the staff is working on. Did they all get scrapped or something?
