I'm being naive but I don't know what 'aimbots' are and how they relate to cheating. Is it possible to cheat in an online game???

Do a search (http://forums.planetunreal.com/search.php) for the term "aimbot" in the UT forum. You'll find plenty of information about it, as well as flames, arguements and "heated discussions".

Yes. More than you know.

If you spot a cheater ingame, then report it to the "llama farm" at http://www.planetunreal.com/fusion/llama.shtml

If you have a server, be sure to install the latest version of CSHP (Client Side Hack Protection) to prevent bot users from joining your server.

http://www.creativecarnage.com/CSHP

The latest beta version is actually posted in the forums on that web site.
