Might ANYONE know why my scoreboard isn't working? The tutorial Slick Willy gave me didn't work. I followed it to the letter and still nothing. Is it a problem that I can't choose a font? When I select the texture to use as a font and click 'use' in the ScrollingMessage properties it just says 'none' still. I can set every other option... but font won't work. What the hell is going on?

Try typing in manually into the Font line:
"Scripted.CondemnedFont"

That's because it must be using a group of textures (fonts) instead of a single one. And you cannot select a group in the texture browser for inserting into properties lines.
That line I have written above describes the group.

Are U sure that the whole Scripted package is loaded.
This should work. Slick's tuts were correct.
Check DM-Morpheus and it's scoreboard.

Did you write quote marks? You should.
Try " and ' if it's not working.

Uh, it worked. My UED wasn't working correctly. I fiddled with it and it worked. Thanks for the help!

What's the problem exactly? And what would you like to display on the scoreboard? Don't give it up so quickly!

What i want it to say is '%lp is in the lead with %lf frags!' in yellow font on a board that is 64 tall and 256 wide. I've set all of the options correctly as to Willy's tut, but now that I've even selected a font it won't work.
the %lp = leading player and %lf = leading player's frags
Do i even set the font color?
The problem is that I can set all the options i want in the ScrollingMessageTexture and set everything correct... but it still won't display it in the game. Is it okay to set the scoreboard texture to unlit?

If nothing else works try copying and pasting the one from Morpheus.
That's a bad thing but I have no idea why it won't work in your level. Are you sure that you've set up the texture and the actor both correctly?
