I'm back, and I need help...

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hi there Forum Team!
I'm a UT map builder.
I've build many maps and have a lot of expierience.
But I haven't used the Editor in a while now so I've
forgotten some importnant things in building Assault Levels.
I have some Questions;
1.How do I change the playerstarts so just Red can start
there and with Blue too ofcourse. I've tried to change it
but in the room the attackers starts in, Blue Defenders
starts there too.

2.Where can I get a FortStandard Tutorial? (I've forgotten
some important things there too)

3.I've just learned how do the Floor Lofter works and
I gives it a "-" I think when you use that the floor looks
so damn Square, or I can't use it the right way...
what do you think?

In order for team PlayerStarts to work, you'll have to rebuild the paths. I know a bit about the FortStandard, but as I haven't made an Assault level yet, it's probably not enough to write a tutorial, and I know of none.

Addition:
There is no floor lofter in UnrealEd 2, but a "BSP based terrain" brush builder, which you form into terrain by vertex editing. Are you still using the first version? If so, then let me tell you that that version's floor lofter is really not worth your while. I'd recommend you either use TerraEdit, TerrainEd or the method described in a terrain tutorial at UT City.
