What are the Best Speakers...

Just wondering what you guys thought the best speakers for about $100 were. Mine suck so I'm going to get some new ones for Christmas. Thanks for the input.

check cambridge soundworks (http://csw.creative.com) webpage.. especially their FPS line if you want to get into real 3d audio..

I have PC works from CSW, subwoofer and two little speakers.. my parents got them for me.. so I don't know how expensive they are.. but I would guess around $50 so you should be able to get better speakers for $100. I like 'em, though I don't really have much chance to really test to see how loud it can go :) (my bass is off and my volumes probably below 2..)

if you want to enable hardware sound without it sounding weird, you'll need probably atleast a four speaker system.. though if you don't really care about hardware sound a two speaker system would work fine
