I just bought UT, and cannot get D3D or OGL to work with the ATI Rage Mobility Pro chipset on my laptop. I know that this problem is listed in the tech FAQ, but I was wondering, is there any possible workaround, and will this problem be addressed, possibly in a patch? Thanks.

It works fine on my Compaq E500 with ATI rage mobility, but i use the Xpert '98 drivers which i installed via GLSetup.exe. UT runs like a dream!

I also play at 1024 x 768 which clears the picture up a bit.

I didn't have any problems on my thinkpad a20p. I upgraded to DirectX 7a, and downloaded the latest video drivers from IBM before even trying to install any Games though. If you don't have DX7a, and the latest video drivers, then I suggest you do the same. The thinkpad a20p uses the ATI Mobility 128, but the Mobility Pro should be able to do it all too, just not as fast.
By the way, all of my games work perfectly. Unreal, UT, Q2, Half-life, Sin and Aliens Vs Predator. Not bad for a laptop.
