I finally got DSL yesterday, ( I was on cable ) and now my game runs VERY SLOW!!! I have a lan network in my home and if I set up a server,for lan, my wife can kick ass, and move around just fine, But I am moveing in slow motion, like it is lagging, very bad! I have a P111 500. And have been running great on cable. I thought DSL was going to make it even better. Thank you for your time and any reply will help.

how is your internet running?
your probabley have lots of stuff remaining on your computer from the cable installed... it could even be in your registry

I dont know what happend, I didnt do anything to it, it just started to work better, much better. Hell, DSL is soo much faster than cable. IT ROCKS! Thank y'all for your replys and help, but it fixed itself. ( I am also only 1400 feet from the C/O, hehehe )I ran the test on my line and it is as fast as a T1. So, uh, who wants to try me? lol See yall later, thanks again.

make sure you go to dslreports.com and check out their tools and tweaks. can compare your line to other dsl/cable owners elsewhere. most useful site for anyone on dsl, imho.
