Skip Tuesday through Thursday. These days are just pants.

Friday - You spend the whole day thinking about what you're doing this evening, then go out in the evening (though it never quite ends up as you planned....oh well.... I'm sure Liz Hurley and Cameron Diaz will eventually succumb to me pestering them for a threesome )

Saturday - More drinking -preferably starting mid afternoon

Sunday - Recover. Go down pub to watch football (and hair of the dog :D). Have an earlyish night due to it being a Monday (Booooo!) tomorrow.

11:05pm - outside in the cold walking round the corner to another pub that has one slight advantage over others nearby - it shuts at 2am compared to 11pm :D

11:07pm - more drink! (and leering)

2:15am Saturday morning - waiting in queue at kebab van.
2:20am - queuing at the taxi rank eating a kebab
2:30am - get back to friends house - more drinking ensues.

4am - attempt to stumble to bed

8:30am - woken by over energetic young dog thinking it will be amusing to jump on my bed. Realise that
1) Its WAY to fecking early to be awake.
2) My mouth feels/smells/tastes like a sandblasted, incontinent elderly male yak has been using it as bed/bog/bathroom
3) I appear to be upside down with my back on the floor and my legs in the bed.
4) A traffic bollard is standing in the middle of my floor. Have no idea how it got there.
5) I've run out of cigarettes
6) The tribbles exploded again

Then again I could be unlucky and wake up on the park bench surrounded by lots of refugees offering to polish my shoes for tuppence.

Wiping in the right direction is indeed what you must do for satisfactory results with fir and spruce cones, as if you go "against the grain" their scales will shred in your buttcrack and leave a bunch of cone shards lodged 'twixt the cheeks. Rather uncomfortable I would imagine.

Here's a picture of a spruce cone; "Blue" or "Colorado" spruce if I'm not mistaken. As you can see, the scales are fairly thin and lie down flat; this makes for nice soft wipeage.

This is a follow up to my last post. As soon as I figure out how to put more than one pic in a post I'll do that and not spam like this, but until then.......

THIS is a pine cone. The species is Jeffrey pine, and as you can see the scales are much thicker and stiffer and stick straight out. Additionally, the scales each have a rather sharp barb at their tip which points upward/outward. Also, the cone is quite a lot larger; usually 4" or so in diameter compared to a spruce cone's 2" - 2 1/2".

The combination of these factors make it an extremely unsavory choice for wiping, as there's no "right" direction to wipe in, there's lots of pointy things and the size is just too large for most normal people to reach the actual spot-to-be cleaned. My suggestion if you're hard up for backwoods TP is to look for some snow or leafy plants, but that's just me. Oh, and stay away from the poison ivy, that's makes a bad a$$ wipe too.

I dont know what to think. All week I have been trying to get today off, but because we were short staffed, they wouldnt let me. Well I go in this morning and they look surprised to see me. Evidently they left a message at my house the day before saying that they didnt need me to come in. So I got the hell outta there as quick as I could.
