This friday thread reminds me of a forum I knew of... They had a thread for every week day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on. Of course these ones were several pages long but they weren't even sticky. The forum members would use these threads for casual stuff like "Good morning" or "Good night" post as well as a kind of journal. That was pretty sureal.

Of course, we can't apply this idea to BuF because of the multiple timezones. That and I'd get banned faster than phil for starting such a spammy initiative ;)

So today at work (museum) it was just me and well.. a very pretty colleague BUT that's not all she was also good companionship (you know some of those pretty girls, some of them are airheads...)
Not this one though.
Smart girl. Helped me out with things, kept an eye on the visitors...
Helped with explaining stuff to tourists... Hey, she was a great help.

Well, we had real fun. Talked about million things, time went by ah well...

Appeared we liked (about...) the same movies, she also liked the same works of art etc..

This particular museum can be so quiet and dull sometimes, but today it was quite different :O)
Good friday...

Sunny weather too. Almost 30°c!

And it's been a long 8 day week. Especially yesterday. Whew, sure had a "workout" yesterday. Sometimes "items/stuff" needs to be transported from one museum to another (Say for a future exhibition). This is for the "logistics" team.
For jobs like these, you have to be with a group of 4 people. Yesterday, at first, there were only 2 of us. We had to "transport" all these heavy boxes (30 kg each I think), about 60-70 of those filled with old books. We had to carry them from 3 floors up, outside (pretty cold) to the van. Inside it was pretty warm... you get the picture.

Interesting job, working at the museum. But it was a lot easier today ;-) Pretty calm really. I'm kinda used to working 8 days in a row now, but I'm glad when it's the end of the "long" week.

Eat breakfast, then open presents, then do nothing, then eat a large dinner with some sort of marinated meat, turkey, chicken, or something similar. The days leading up to Christmas are actually better than Christmas. Lights, decorations, and the shopping bustle are really what Christmas is all about. Unless you celebrate Jesusmas, as Steven Colbert put it. ;) Except now that the Christmas season is so long it's losing it's touch. I was glad to see that the downtown decorations and shopping malls didn't decorate until December 10th.
