What the hell are these random colors that replace lights? I make a level then some wierd colors just randomly appear. Some of them replace lights which are supposed to have effects (like blinking or fog). I downloaded some levels from Nali City and it happened to some of them too. Is something wrong with my 3D card or is it the level(s)?

If it's in game then odds are it's just a driver issue.

I had that problem big time when I was making this church level on my old P166. Now, I never see then... hope that means they are gone. /~unreal/ubb/html/wink.gif

I got that today on DM-Observatory and CTF-2fort5, but it works now. I guess it's just an occasional card glitch. Other stuff I've had is the mesh messing up when you do a pelvic thrust /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif, ends up looking like (if anyone remembers) what hppenes when you use the wrong meshes on glquake. Ahhh, memories

I don't know the actual cause, but I can prevent it.

I noticed it occurs when you have a texture both unlit and non-unlit in view at the same time. Been able to avoid it just by not using the same texture in both situations in view at the same time. *shrug*

i would say that its the directx 7 drivers, that does weird things with lighting
