This is probably a really dumb question.
How do you load and run a map from the UT command line / box?
The equivalent of the 'map filename' command in quake.
I've tried all the obvious ones and looked in the documentation. It would be nice to keep UT running minimized during rebuilds, then switch and reload -- at the moment I have to quit UT, then load it after a rebuild which takes ages. UE isn't clever to know UT is running in the background and starts a new instance.
thanks.

Thats not necessary, just minimise it and when you want to run another map just go to Start> practice session and choose the map you want to run.

And the console command's syntax is...

open mapname.unr

woohoo! ;)

'open' or 'start mapname.unr'.
Don't know the difference.
