I e-mailed you the new .wav file...16 bit mono, and a bit cleaned up. Now take this file and do the following:
1. Place this .wav file on the "Desktop"....to avoid the "spaces in commandline" bug
2. Select whatever your attaching it to in UnrealEd and then select it using the sound effect brouser on the left. Make sure that the file shows up in the space provided under "properties" of whatever it is that it is being attached to (probably a trigger)
3. Press "save" ON THE BROUSER on the lefthand side...then it should ask you where to save this file (default is your sounds folder) and press ok. It impotant that u save it as the same name as the file you had on the desktop. It will now be saved as an .uax file.
4. Now rebuild....
Note: You MUST include this file when giving to others to download...or your map WILL NOT RUN!
Good Luck!

Np...glad it worked! What I did isn't too complicated but you do need a good sound editing program...like SoundForge.
You can DL it at the link above in my last post....no crack needed!
As far as what types of sounds you can use...just remember that it has to be 8 or 16 bit mono .wav file. But remeber...this goes for sounds only...music is something entirely different!
A good link on the subject can be found at: http://unreal.epicgames.com/ under the "Audio" header.
E-mail me if you want more input.
