Hey, what does all this UE4 and these letters and numbers mean? I am new to the UT community.

Yeah, I think. Whats U4E? I saw these when I went to download some stuff for UT, but I did not know what they meant, so I did not download anything. (I want to downloaded some stuff for UT.)

U4E is Unreal 4 Ever, an awesome weapons mod for UT. You should get it, even though it is 28 MB for version 6. It is well worth it :D

You will find lots of new and confusing acronyms and abbreviations here, so it can be tricky to get up to speed at first.

OK, you know about U4E - Unreal4Ever, a replacement weapons pack.

PuF = Planet Unreal Forums
mod = third party add-on program for the game
RA = Rocket Arena, a 1v1 or 2v2 duelling mod
TO = Tactical Ops, a paramilitary type mod
SF = Strike Force, see above :)
GOTY = Game of the Year Edition, the upcoming UT re-release
pub = public server, somewhere anyone can play
LPB = low-ping bastard, a player with a fast connection
HPW = high-ping whiner, a player with a slow connection
RL = rocket launcher
SB = shield belt
DA = damage amp, (alternatively, DragonAsh)
xloc = translocator
O = Offense, attacking in CTF
D = Defense, guarding the flag in CTF
NC = Nali City, a website to download maps from

Welcome aboard Crono. You'll find lots of great info here...but be sure to check out @leaner's FAQ (check his signature in his post for the link) and the PlanetUnreal front page for the UT tweaks link.

Be sure to come by #planetunreal in your UT chat browser. Everyone hangs out there and goofs off before jumping into games. It's fun to frag with people you know and newcomers are always welcome.

Check out the PU front page for server links. You'll find a link to the Roost. It's a server where you'll find a lot of players from this forum. Be forewarned...many times the players are very very good. But most will be helpful to you.
