Is there a way to turn the brightness past 1?

Well, im actually having this problem with wot but since its using the unreal engine its close enough I figured. Anyways my screen is way to damn dark and the slider wouldnt let me go any further. So I went to advanced to increase it from there...but it only knocks it down back to 1.0000000. This pretty much sucks. I dont want to use the other monitor because it is smaller than this one.
Oh and I have a v3 2000 and cranked up the brightness for 3dfx/opengl games and direct 3d... no go for those either. But it works for desktop....go figure.

I said in the first post that I did do that with the v3. It works for other games but didnt do anything with wot.
