Can't get skins working in LAN deathmatch.

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Whenever my roomate and I try to use custom skins in an Unreal deathmatch, the skins are only displayed properly on the server machine. The client only displays the default Male1 skin for both characters.

Both machines are running Unreal build 224 and both have the same House of Style skins installed.

I think you need to add an entry in the server's Unreal.ini file for the skins. Under the [Unreal.GameEngine] section, look for ServerPackages= and you will see how the built-in skins are defined.
