Okay I have a question about skyboxes. I have heard that you need to make a skybox texture 256x256 and tile it. Well with that then all the skies would look like a striated cloud pattern. But I have seen skyboxes that look like a giant texture and do not seem to be tiled. Is it possible to make a skybox texture that isn't that small and that isn't tiled? Maybe use a huge 2d sheet to apply my sky textures to? I have Bryce4 to make awesome skies but if they all have to be small and tiled then it's useless. Could someone enlighten me on this subject.
