SLUTcon 2000 Highlights!

Sounds like fun!! Sounds like KuKu was evil..but aren't we all??

Yeah, I played on the publicly visible SLUTcon server with some of you guys. FUN FUN FUN! =p

I hope you guys had tons of fun up there!

This isn't a real highlights package. Why? Well because there are no pictures!

The EuroLAN had pics (albeit not very many), so what about SLUTcon? Or did someone forget to bring a camera?

I brought 2 disposable cameras but I think we were all too busy playing to actually take pics. I think a few were taken this morning, but I'm not sure


To add to all the comments, SLUTCon rocked, it was great fun, I had a blast, and meeting everyone was totally cool. We all got along great and there was a LOT of fragging and even more laughing hysterically.

Highlights included a crazy game of Coret in which SLUTConners changed to their alter egos of MCHammer, Ham and Eggs, PoopPiston and others, to play a nutso game with only impact hammers. This was followed by Excessive Splooge CTF on Eternal Caves, which featured players such as Sploogerific, McSploogy, and others. The things you come up with at 2am

The 1vs1 Tourney was intense and super fun, with Soul Crusher squeaking past Spyder for the tourney win. Harm and Soul had a little bit of a glitch during theirs due to KuKu turning on the bathroom light and causing a circuit to freak out and blow power to one part of the LAN. However , within moments , SLUTCon was back up and running

w00t to all who came, special thanks to Harm for spending so long getting me a computer up and running, and thanks to Ineff for all her hard work organising!

We got to see Y5's Monkey, GameOrz's mom, and a very nice policeman who showed up Saturday night to see what on earth a bunch of computer geeks were doing in the conference rooms Fortunately he wasn't there because of noise or anything, he just wanted to make sure things were going ok up there, since he wasn't used to people having Meetings there in the middle of the night

I think the whole thing can be summed up by 2 signs outside. On the left, we'd taped up a big sign for people needing to park their cars and load out epuipment. Next to it on the right was a sign on the door for the company who took care of any towing in the parking lot:

Well, SLUTCon is officially closed and everything's packed... Tables are returned to their origins and my house is a mess! *grin* It was lots of fun! I'm glad everyone could come and we'll have screenshots and pictures as soon as people get around to their normal lives... I know that SC took lots of pictures and while we never got the webcam up and never really took a group picture (too busy fragging!), we hopefully have some of most people... *sheep* We'll have to assign an official camera person at the next SLUTCon.. so turn your applications in today!

y5, you're in luck... I have LOTS of stuff that belongs to you... a Q2 cd... some posters... a 6lb bag of pretzels .... and.. um... LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of BEER!!!!!!!!!! So, yeah, we have to talk...

Oh and Troll... don't forget to mention the network guys who turned up... At least they opened a port in the firewall for us...

God I can't believe how much fun that was! I'm thinking of making PoopPiston an official tag of mine now . The Piston CTF Arena and the Excessive Spooge CTF Arena should become official monthly happinings.

Everyone was a great sport, and though I had ratty ass pings, major packet loss and everyone seemed to be using aim bots I had spectacular fun. Can't wait for the SLUTCon2000v2.0 (It works even for SanFran

I only played a couple of matches, but I had a great time. I was playing on a system in shipping at work ;(

On Coret, I noticed Y5 running around with a piston and I thought; BEER. Then it was Harm. Mean while I was gakking away at them with a R/L not realizing what was going on. Y5 set me straight. It took me a while to even select the piston. I don't have it bound. Sorry for the thresh foot shots guys.

I left at 2am because of time (and the drive home from work) and I HATE caves almost as much as face. (Inoxx must die).
