I have been building a map wich I want to have a thunderstorm in.
I have used stochastic trigger, dispatcher and triggered lights.
My problem is that the light-flashes does not show on any surfaces, it does show on the guns and some decorations, wich is not sufficient for my needs...

I get it to work if I add fog, but it usually is not foggy when there is a thunder-storm coming...

I have read the tutorial on:
http://www.planetunreal.com/unrealed/tutorials/adv/storm/
but I cannot get it to work.

would be grateful for any help...

Well, I've never made a real storm, but I have used rain sheets from the rainfx package, along with triggered lights and ambient sounds to make a nice stormy feeling from inside a building. However, it wouldn't really look like a storm if you went outside. You can only see my storm from inside the building. If you want, download the map at Nalicity, it's called DM-UTKombat. Also, one of the guys that entered our contest on Valiant (www.planetunreal.com/valiant) made a map with some cool triggered lights that looked alot like lightning. It's called DM-Geptra, and you can get it from Valiant or NC. Good Luck.
