Hi Everyone, I just posted a new Texture file on my website
called Alienworlds.utx, it has 6 modified skins (For The
Unreal monster Models with an alien theme) and 5 planets
to make some Alien skies, Anyway if your making a outwordly
level and you want to spice up your skybox, or if your maknig a single player Unreal level, and want to make the monsters look weird, check out my new texture set at
http://www.unrealcontest.com/lestat
I plan on making several more texture sets for use in the
Unreal community so feedback (Good or bad!) is appreciated

I love the sky backgrounds :)
Am I free to use them for my maps?

If you could, I'd suggest you to make more of these backgrounds, because I think the mountains that come with Unreal (Tournament) are quite ugly (low resolution + vertical strokes), so I never use them in my maps.

BTW: I really love the stars on your site..., but is it normal that on a pentium2 350, scrolling down goes SLOW?

You bet, Use any of those textures you want to
(although the Skins i included are mainly for Unreal
and not UT since the skin the monster models) I included the skins mainly because I made them a long time ago, and since im not making Unreal levels any more, I just decided to include them with the planets, I am currently making another Alienworlds texture set, this time it wont have skins
so it will mainly be more planets, and some alien ground, and
structure textures, As for the stars in my site, Yeah that applet probably does slow down some computers, I mainly just wanted a good Navigational button menu, so I will probably change it to a simpler one when i get one together
or find one I like,Im currently redesigning my site to try to get hosted on other sites as well as Unrealkingdom
(who have been really cool about hosting my site)
anyway, yeah use the textures in your maps, thats what they are their for, you can either download the premade .utx file, or go to the page where i have them posted in .jpg form and import them yourself, feel free to modify the .utx file ( take out textures you dont need, etc.) or add it to your own texture packs, they are 100% free, no strings.
