VIETNAM 1976(one year after war) Escape From Nam

Me,Omega,Gypsican, and Nitr8 are currently working on a mod for UT! It will be based on the Vietnam war. It takes place one year after Vietnam(1976)and you can play as either the Vietcong or the Americans. Most of the levels will be in the jungel and a few will take place at night!! Some of the levels will be in the city, and we are in the process of doing one that puts the americans in a PT boat coasting down a small river in the middle of the jungel, the Vietcong have to take out the americans on the boat!!!! We will have all new weapons includeing the M-16 assult rifle, CAR-15, M-60, AK-47, AK-74, Smoke Granades, Frag Granades, M-79(Granade Launcher) among others! There will be diferant classes for each team. For the americans we are thinking about: Infantry(M-16, 9mm, Granades), Marksman(Sniper Rifle, 9mm), Heavy Gunner(M-60, 9mm, Granades), Recon(CAR-15, 9mm, Granades), Demolishnist(Lots of Granades, Granade Launcher, Mines, 9mm)!! The game will alow you to upgrade your player by each kill you get, 5 kills= 5 points, Each 5 points you get you go up a rank, allowing you to get newer, better weapons and upgraded speed and armor! The game will take place as a mulitplayer game, none leaner! By upgradeing your person, the points will continue on to each game you play, but if you die during a game, your dead for that game(untill a new one starts up) and if you are in the middle of gettin your 5 points to go up a rank you lose all 5. Each time you die after that you will lose one point from your last stage. Hope you got all that. All these ideas are in early development, so they are all subject to change, and if you would like to join the team, just leave a respons here with you email and icq if you have it.
