i need to remove texture package from map.i am done with map but i used a strike force texture, i have changed the texture in the map but when someone tries to download the map from my server they still are asked to download the texture pack what can i do?

That has happened to me, and it is soooooooooooooo annoying.

the only way i managed to fix it was by locating ALL the textures used by the texture package u wanna remove, changing them to a default texture (in another texture package) then deleting the package u dont want.

I think that worked for me, but its a total nightmare.

If you are sure you've removed it totally from the map, type TEXTURE CULL in the log window, rebuild and save.

If none of those work (though they should) then you can always export your map, then import it.


This is a great way to find errors in your map so you can fix them!
