Need a little help with ini editing

When you double tap a movement key it causes you to jump in that direction. What do I change to disable that feature?
I play with a j-stick and have edited the ini to use the 3rd axis to strafe. Occasionally when running my player will make a spuratic jump to the left.
Can someone help me solve this problem?
And please don't say "switch to a keyboard"
