Question for you guys...

Let's say you fire a projectile, a rocket for example.

You fire b4 you touch the damage ampilfier in front of you.

Then after releasing the rocket, you get the DA..

If the rocket hits the target, is the damage still amplified?

I wouldn't think to so...but I guess it's possible. That is similar to this question. If you fire a barrage of rockets, then die before your rockets kill the enemy target. Do you get credited for a frag.

I thought that was answered as yes, quite awhile back. I'm still not sure.

1) No (amp)

2) Yes (posthumous frag)

Well, that WOULD make more sense than the weapon becoming purple, glowing and transparant :)

Yes, you get credit for anty direct frag you get after death. Examples include:

Rocket Barrage
Goo Explosion
Xlocator Missing (ugh!)
Shok Secondary

Somehow, the allpication knows to "tag" the weapon sprite with your info, and if you die before the (delayed)damage is aplied, you still will get the credit for the frag even if you've respawned since the weapon was fired.

Do that with the Vampire mutator and all of a sudden you get an extra 150 health added to your 100! :D
