View Full Version : Flags change teams automatically

I've been working on a CTF level. The level will put the red flag in the red base ,sometimes, and other times it will be in the blue base (stays on 1 side or the other for entire game).

Also, when I hosted this game. It only showed up in the UT Servers section and not the CTF section. What might be the prob. here? It's name is CTF-Rockfire.unr and I host under CTF. No special settings.

Remember to use the Flagbase found under NavigationPoints for the right flag. Also you might want to tilt it down a bit as when it's placed directly on it's tip bots won't know how to get it.

You can change which team it belongs to by changing the Flagbase=>Team setting.
1=blue team
0=red team

You might need to set the DefaultGameType.
In the Level Properties=>LevelInfo=>DefaultGameType, this should be one of the various game types found under Classes=>Info=>GameInfo=>TournamentGameInfo=>DeathMatchPlus

You'll want the CTF one.

I have been using the Flagbase and I have been setting the teams to 0 and 1, but the game desides which side of the battleground to place them still. /~unreal/ubb/html/frown.gif

Oh one thing I forgot. Even if you didn't set up pathnodes do a Paths Define (Rebuild window=>Lighting tab, big button that says Paths Define). Things like CTF and DOM don't work unless you've done that first.

Still though save the Paths Define till last unless you're play testing in the middle.

The map sounds like fun LOL!
