I am not looking for tutorials. My maps are soundly constructed, I can intersect, deintersect, create water, fog, foggy water and make my bots dance the hula. Lifts, movers screaming spaceships and cars running over players (a fun one that) are all a doddle. Iris doors? Piddle... Human cannons? Easy..

So why am I new to mapmaking?? I can have tutorials for all the above things. But really, the main problem lies in making not just maps, but good maps!

I make levels that are well made and are stable, but I compare them to maps like CTF-Hallofgiants and DM-Anubis and my levels make me wreth, anybody got any suggestions on how I can improve in general (and everybody??)

Thanks a load.

Find a friend or a random person that plays and likes UT. Let them play test your maps and have them give your feedback on it. Make sure they give you feedback that you can use. You don't need stuff like this: "It sucks. I don't know why and don't care why but it sucks". You need constructive criticism (it took me the entire passage to remember that phrase /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif ).

Once you get that and you find out that it's fun you'll be all set.
