I have AutoCad R14 and would like to know how to convert my AutoCad brushes into Unreal Tournament brushes.

Just use the .dxf out under the File pull down. the option is Export, then just choose .dxf. Then import thre file into your map. I'm gonna be doing the same thing, design at work, then import at home.

Design in chunks guys. Keep the face counts of the chunks under 500 faces, otherwise face the dreaded BSP holes of death!

Ok, seriously though, under 500 faces.

I exported a simple shape from AutoCad and then Imported it into UTed. It just comes in blank.

What import options should I choose? I tried all of them I believe and none of them gave me a brush. Help. Help.

Did you sutract the brush?

I think there's something else that I'm missing. Something like double-sided faces or flip sided.

I added it in UTed. But there was nothing to add though... the brush literally disappeared. There was no brush of any nature. I don't use any surface effects or anything special. Just the basic stuff till i make something respectable.
