unreal maps to ut maps?

is it possible to convert unreal maps to ut maps? i can't get unreal to work anymore and i have lots of maps for it and since i have gotten ut i was wondering if it were possible to convert the unreal maps to ut. and how hard it would be to do so if they do convert.

Unreal I maps should work with UT with no modifications whatsoever. UT will automatically replace any Unreal type actors with the nearest UT match. But according to Epic, for performance reasons you should edit the map and replace everything yourself (there's an article that mentions this on the epic technology page). That is very easy to do. A lot of the good Unreal maps have already been converted.

ok, i understand that much, but how do i do this? i have zero experience with building maps. is there someplace that has directions? as to what to do? how to do it? and what to use to convert?
