questions on skewing

I'm not having much luck trying to skew a brush. Either I can't get it to skew the way I want it to (wrong axis or face), and half the time the damn builder brush vanishes when you start trying to skew. Anyone have any suggestions?

Skewing is completely broken and, like scaling, will move the vertices of a brush away from nice discrete grid settings thus making nasty bsp errors more likely.

Learn how to perform vertex manipulation (select the builder brush, alt-click on a vertex, then alt-drag that vertex around).
