Hey hey....update.....

Almost every texture (with the exception of about 10) on Texture Universe (http://www.TextureUniverse.com) can now be previewed *tiled in perspective* by clicking on the texture.

That means that when you click on the texture, it calls up a small window that shows you what that texture might look like tiled on a wall, floor, ceiling, etc...

For example, this texture:

Now can be previewed so it looks like this:

This feature will just give you an idea of how the texture would look over a larger space. As noted in the previous post, I didn't tile every texture out to a horizon-line because the angle gets too unrealistically steep. In general, textures containg purposefully random elements will have some repetition when seen over a huge space anyway. But this feature will definitely give you an idea of the basic "look" of the texture once tiled.

Again, please let me know what you think, about any bugs you find, suggestions, comments, or if you're using any textures in a map. I'd always love to see them.

Also, not every texture has this type of preview version completed...most do....and "specialty" or "single use" textures don't have tiled preview versions since they're never tiled....

More textures coming :)

Great work!

This is really useful! Now I havn't to fire up UnrealEd to see how the textures will look in the game.

Keep it coming!
