Great i finally sorted out the problems i ran into apparently never build a invisible collision hull then put glass into it you have to do it the other way round. Anyway now i got one problem thing is if i cant do it my map will be ****ed essentially.I built my map from inside out i started off with the smaller rooms then built out but now i want to add the final room that all the rooms are in basically its outside so i am making a large room. Thing is when i subtract the new room with my previous rooms in the middle it becomes empty. I.e no walls, i only have lights and movers the same happens when i add it how can i make the room enclose another room please help cause i wanna finish this map and get on to an even better one i was thinking about

Don't build an invisible collision hull aorund glass! I gave you an answer in one of your last posts!

The reason why your rooms are empty is obvious! If you add a brush you can still substract another brush of it.

But there is a simple solution. It only takes seconds.
Substract your brush. Then right click on it and select "order". Then click on "To first".

Now the editor 'thinks' that you substracted the brush and added the rooms AFTER it!

Okay thanks 8-4-7-2 thing is you said i should make the glass and invisbile hull interesect them and create a mover from the formed shape thats what i do and when i put the settings the glass doesnt shatter it just disappears so now my maps have a breaking glass effect the first time you shoot the window then the second time you do the window disappears oh well im lost thanks im gonna start on the o0utside room thanks again

What I meant with the glass:

DON'T make the hull AROUND the glass, but behind it!
If the glass sheet is 128*128, make the hull 126*126*2. 2 units smaller than the sheet. Then switch to a 2-unit grid and align it. This is waht I meant with "not touching". Not the lines must not. The brush itself! Place it 2 units behind the sheet.

I think this won't solve your shattering problem (I'm still curious to hear a solution) but it will look better!!

Seems like making the room first doesnt work for me. I have a feeling its the way i created the other room but you see when i subtract another brush, move the rooms into it then make the brush first some walls disappear the whole place fills with water etc im gonna mess with it now but any help would be much appreciated.
