I have four rooms with open ceiling and I am now about to add the sky. Would it be better to make 4 separate fake backdrops for each room or one common backdrop for all?
Thanks.

Depends on how you look at it. If you want something to be showing from each room, like a tower or something, do one backdrop.

Unless I'm mistaken you can only have 1 sky for the every fakebackdrop in the map.

along a similar vein..
i'd like to be able to rotate the skyZoneInfo 'camera' on an axis and set the angular velocity approximately equal to earth's rotation (or any [non-zero] value for that matter).

If Im not mistaken you have to set the skyzoneinfo to DStatic = False so it can interact with the world to attach it to a mover as well. If ANYONE can figure out a working way to do day/night transition in a detailed skybox with a moving skyzoneinfo please please please let me know!!! Ive got everything you need to do it working and is tested BUT the way to make it look seamless.

Here's what I'ld do. Go into the SkyZoneInfo's properties=>Advanced=bDirectional=True.
Then make an invisible AttachMover and attach the SkyZoneInfo to the AttachMover. Then just get the AttachMover to go any way you want.

i'm on it..
multiple multicolored lights (with coronas and lens flares) attached to invisible movers are next.

Remember the boat in NaliBoat.unr Jenkins? Maybe setting up an AttachMover like that and have it looping would do the trick. But how would the sky look...?

Hey Ari, long time no see, or talk. Hey Wanderer, did you mean someone else on your last post? I don't understand where I came into it. /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif
