View Full Version : Possibly a silly question, but...

When I load UnrealEd, it loads up sans error messages, and everything seems fine. However, I can't seem to do anything! If I click on the cube (sphere/cone/stairs/etc.) on the side, it puts them on the grids, and I can subtract into existance, but I can't seem to move the objects, re-arrange their verticies, or anything. I've tried left click and drag, right click and drag, and several other things on the verticies- is there some sort of "Move object" or "Move verticie" button I need to click or something?

I'm fairly new to editing but I believe all you have to do is hold the CTRL button and click and drag. If that isn't it then I have no clue.

You seem to be in need of some unrealed tutorials, check these out.

When you add or subtract brushes and then make changes to them you have to press F8 and click on rebuild geometry to see the changes.

1. If you want to move the primitive shapes, highlight it, hold down CTRL, left click and move the mouse, and the shape will move.
2. To move the vertices, click on a verticie, hold ALT, and move the mouse. And that will re-arrange verticies.
