Okay, this is frustrating me:

I create a huge room. In that room I hang a transparent tube just floating in air. Everything is fine so far... Now I add a zone portal to each end.

It looks okay, but if I enter the tube the graphics go nuts! It doesn't happen if the tube is opaque, however. I can look down the tube fine and out the openins, but looking through the sides of the tube causes all kinds of chaos. Not a hall of mirrors really, but just 'blocks' of white. Like it can't even render those spots.

As I said, if the tube is opaque, or the zone portals are not in place, everything is fine.

Anybody run across this and know what to do for a fix? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with a zone that is entiredly bordered by transparencies...?

I just noticed that 'Testicle'(ick!) posted the exact same question just two hours ago. No, my transparent object does -not- touch any other objects as was suggested as a possible problem.

I'll post something on that thread too..

Try making the transparent faces zone portals to. Just press F5 and go into the Effects tab.
