I really miss the Hologram mod generator from Unreal..
I wish Epic would of made it part of the game.
Back in the good ol days of DUKE nukem 3d...that hologram was a blast and added tons of strategy.
any one else think so....

I liked the one in Duke, (I never saw the one for Unreal)
It's pretty cool, but I have enough trouble just fraggin people. I would really hate to waste all of my ammo on a friggen hologram.
Just imagine if everybody had one, that would be insane.
Maybe as a mutator, another relic , that would be ok.

yes i use to have one for the original UNREAL.
i will see if i can find it and post a link of it for you.
it worked a lot like the one in Duke.
another thing i rememeber about it is you could set it so it was time dependant... but could toggle it off and on....so if you droped it you could turn it off...if you found a better place to put it.
you could also make it last indefinately .....which if i recall correctly really bogged down UNREAL when we played on the lan at work. (opps.....didn't mean to admit that) :)
i could imagine setting these HOLOGRAMS up by your flag or the enemies.....
the only way i think you could tell the difference was your "target" identifier name would not show up.
as the HOlOGRAMS would run Through various animations to make them look "live" or at least "cyber" live.
will see if i can find the link and see what needs to done to possibly make it a mutator.
have some work to do.....
