I would like to know if there is a way to build unreal tournament maps programmatically?
Are developers bound to the Unreal Tournament Editor or can they develop maps with a scripting/programming language?
Also, how do you import dxf format files? Any idea of where I might get that info? Thanks.

I haven't heard of any tools to do this, but if you can find out the .unr file format I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard...

Ouch....You realy want to programm (scripting) an Unrealmap ? That's cool !
I nevver heard this before but for your dxf-files I've got a solution. (don't know if this is the easiest way) There is a file-converter named "UNREALINATOR: The VRML 2.0 -> Unreal Map Translator!". You could translate your dxf with the 3D Studio or something like that to VRML 2.0 and than to unr.
The webmaster of Willow Pond which is the guy who has written this tool knows surely something usefull for your scripting projekt. Try this link ... hope that helps.
