Sounds tempting. You guys are going to be 3I337! I'm willing to join up.

Only thing is, I'm from Canada. Now I know it's not European, but all the US guys think it is. I have a great connection for a Canadian, using the latest in 28.8 modem technology. Also, I know how to type a bit of French, so if you get some clan guys who are from French, I can talk a bit to them and translate for you.

I know how to use the teleporting device. I even killed someone with it once. (I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, but I'll let you know once I figure it out.)

I can teach your clan some tricks on Face, like how to use the impact hammer effectively when you have the flag...I'd let on more right now, but I don't want everybody to see it.

we got 4members in the meantinme but .....
one is on vacation and the other one isn't good enough to take the name of our clan

So actually there are only 2members that are really online these days

Look through the signatures of the ppl on this thread and you'll see, that most regular posters on PuF are already members of a clan. Generally I have seldom seen somebody successful announcing recruitement on a forum. A better way is to ask players directly on the servers that you play on. And if you are really as good as you say, everybody should feel honored to be asked and you should have a bunch of new members in no time. ;)

I was being pretty sarcastic with my comments on my first post.

In reading the recruitment, your post says "Are you good enough?". It said nothing further about what kind of a clan are you trying to put together. The way I read it is that the only thing you care about is whether or not a player is elite. You didn't say anything about what you're looking to have with your clan (fun, skill, combination).

I read the post as "If you're good enough you can join, we don't care if you're a jerk because we'll be elite, cocky and arrogant".

You seem like a nice enough guy, especially if you'd offer to give me a tryout based on what I said in that post. :)

If you're going to be running a clan, be very careful about the people you let in, as the people are what makes a clan. Don't let in any llamas or sh!t disturbers and it'll make your life a lot easier. Remember that you'll be online with these people for a good chunk of your life in the near future, you want to enjoy it. Don't take a skilled player who's an arse. The best thing to do is go to the same server(s) and recruit some people you play with regularly who you LIKE to play with.

the thing we want good skilled player and your suggestion that we don't care what kind of person you are is really untrue we're just a clan for fun guy we don't give money to our members hehehe (it would be more fun i suggest hehehe)
so if we play we play as a team in CTF of TDM or just DM with all of our members helping eachother (hehehe we're really nasty :)

I'd like to thank you for your post morety but we just seeking for really funny people just like we are (what an ego-smash :) and if they can play UT well that's even better but it aint a must , okay i'd to admit you must can make at least one kill in DM (preferably more :) hehehe

I have been looking to join a clan. I think my skills have improved a lot in the past couple of weeks. The problem is I live in the US, and use a 56k. I don't think it would be very good if your mostly playing on European servers.

BTW, I also don't have ICQ. I never bothered to download it.

Hell, |C| played DRD in our first DOM game the other night - they didn't have a single normal character in their names. Extremely annoying - but they were normal guys. Hell, even one corrected his spelling when he was typing in UT. That's not your typical kewld0Od.

Rooster... yes he is only 56k. Now, when has a chance, he goes to Reaper{FU}'s house and leeches some cable :D but he is awesome for being on a 56k.

Kewl guys to what you've posted in this forum , but we considired there's no-one really interested in joining OUR clan.. without the problems of a laggy modem , or You're from the US yes you can see that as a None-problemo
but we do we don't wanna play in the early morning (around 2AM ... that's not good for me and neither for my girlfriend ur we could never do the ****ing part ...)
so ... we decided to quit the clan if no-1 is really interested in joining we'll sign up for a european clan
a german clan to be exactly, so we could start a real war , couse the germans know how to start a war check the second worldwar , but the problem is they never win.... neither do we (i'm dutch btw) the european people on PUF now know where i'm talkin' about ... netherlands - italie
it was a soccergame we missed 2penalties ...... and there goes our cup.... to the damn french... really annoying
But the point is *sigh* lol that we and germany are a perfect team , we never win but we surely do never lose we always commit suicide if we can't win (check adolf hitler)

Well, DRD won the day, but from the Aftermath report, it was a great matchup. You can read about it at http://www.provinggrounds.com go to Menu, then News, and under Aftermath, they list the |C| match. I didn't watch the demo of this one, but I will, as we'll be challenging DRD very soon.
